Our professional bagpiper Alistair Brown is one of Scotlands top young pipers. Winning the Scottish Junior Piping Championships 2 years running and also the Overall Champion at the Under 18 Northern Meeting are just a couple of highlights from Alistair's many competitive achievments as a youngster.

 

 

Alistair has been piping since the age  of 9 and was under the tutilidge of the great Iain Macfadyen (a former multiple world champion) until he left high school in 2001. Since then, Alistair chose to put competing on hold as he pursued other interests and completed a BSc Degree in Sports Science at The University of Glasgow. However, he has always kept up his practice to maintain his ability so that he could eventually re-enter the competitive scene.

 

With a wealth of competitive experience, Alistair has also played at numerous weddings, funerals and many other functions that have required his musical services. His professionalism and friendly highland nature give him the greatest platform for providing you with the service that you want anytime and anywhere.
